Pictures of the Rodney Stoke Rally
Lovely site and the weather has been very kind to us with only a drop of rain at night but some days had a cold chill but it didn’t stop everyone enjoying themselves.
We have had two enjoyable social nights in the function room, one great group meal in the pub and a boules competition.
Wednesday afternoon farewell drinks went down well.
Thank you to all who attended I think we all enjoyed ourselves.
We Thoroughly enjoyed Rodney Stoke and would like to thank you both for making the rally such a success. The eleven days spent amongst good friends in beautiful Somerset just flew by. We were sad to leave. Thanks again. Rex & Sylvia
Bring back memories of the rallies you have attended
Hi this was another day when we had our games on the field.
Every one enjoyed themselves playing the 9 different games,
The overall winner was John Rawlings from Braintree
On the last night we had a fish and chip supper followed by left right centre, Ron walked away with the £20,winnings.
Good luck to him.
Next year we will again be at Felixstowe so make a note to come and enjoy yourselves.
We had Darts knockout on the field, walks in Sheringham forest a sports day on the field. Rally officers Mike and Julie along with Pat and David. The prize for the Boules was made by Woody a long time member presented to Julie, the prize for the indoor Bowls went to Judith. We spent a number of nights in the club house for bingo, beetle drive, and entertainment was put on the Saturday nights by the site, with a bus stop at the top of the drive this is one of the best sites in Norfolk with the sun shining until the last day when it rained to make the grass green. If you attend next year you will not be disappointed it's in next years rally book with over 30 vans this year you may need to book early. Our thanks go to the rally offices and their assistants thank you.
St Ives Rally 2017
A few photos of the rally in both barns, the first week was in the Cromwell with all the lights and looked nice done up, we had line dancing and a singer.
The second week we had the afternoon tea and knock out darts, with Tuesday night quiz night with baked potatoes. These were just a few of the things arranged, we also had a trip to London where we had a conducted tour of the Houses of Parliament which everyone found interesting and said that they enjoyed it.
Now we have finished the rally the officers and their assistants we were surprised to be told how well we had done, the number of thank you cards that the girls received were very much appreciated so thank you to all that sent cards and the flowers.
The trip to the Houses of Parliament was a big success going into all three houses most were surprised how small the main chambers were, but for them who had never been it was well worth going, we used all 3 barns over the two weeks and bacon rolls on the bowls dinner.
Mark (Owner) came to see us all a number of times, to see if we needed anything but it was so well organised with the new assistants they are to be congratulated as nothing was two much trouble for them even getting the morning papers that had been ordered and they do say that they will assist next year. Thank you all for coming to area 5 and supporting us. David Smith Area Organiser
Dougie and Olive Jordan celebrated their Diamond Wedding Anniversary. All present helped them in the celebrations and we all wished them good health and happiness.

Matlock Rally 2018
Thought this photograph taken at 9pm today Saturday 9th June 2018, sums up the great rally everyone had at the hands of the officers Graham, Elizabeth, Brian and Marie, who all worked so hard in producing a rally full of things to do and clubhouse activities every night but one. The fayre we were presented with on each night was very welcome including fish suppers on one evening and culminating in an excellent ploughman’s tea tonight , the last night. The rally was well attended and many ralliers were meeting new friends...The sun shone apart from one night of rain during the night. Thank you officers and well done.

West Parley Rally 2018
Well what a great rally this turned out to be, my concerns over having to use a smaller field this year turned out to be unfounded but instead it made the rally friendlier. We had the best group of ralliers who made it a such a success and of course the sunshine helped reaching temperatures of 32°, we had so many good times and laughs together. We welcomed 3 new RCA members to their first rally with us and several other who were in their first year. My thanks go to all who attended for making the rally such a pleasure to run, Pam & I would also like to thank those who helped with the Friday BBQ evening, Martin on sausage duty, Peter on Burger duty and special thanks must go to Helga a local person who played keyboard and sang for us throughout the evening and with the wine made it an enjoyable event. No going to bed at 9:00 they were still sat outside at midnight. Sunday morning came when Pam & I started cooking a full English breakfast for 32 people which went down very well, thank you Jean for breaking the eggs for me to cook.
We held a raffle in aid of the Chairman’s Charity which raised £50 many thanks to those who donated prizes and who bought tickets.
I think we all made a lot of friends and look forward to doing it all over again next season.
