Preview Details of the R.C.A. 2025 National Rally

National Rally 2025 (Incorporating the A.G.M) 

10 nights at the excellent AA 4 star rated Woodland Waters site.  With 72 acres of scenic country park and five fishing lakes, the site has full facilities and 10A EHU is included for all units.  There is a bar and restaurant on site and we have exclusive use of the Maldon Suite function room for our events.  Also included in the price is a full programme of both indoor and outdoor activities, the National & Area AGM's, and a 2 course gala meal!

All this for less than the price of an average CL!  

 

Planned Programme of Events

Tuesday 2nd Sept.

6:00pm – Welcome meeting with full details of all activities.

7:45pm – Exclusive Prosecco reception for our 2025 rally officers - A token of our appreciation!

 

Wednesday 3rd Sept.

2:00pm – Tea Dance and refreshments.

7:00pm – Cash Bingo.

 

Thursday 4th Sept.

10:00am – Area Annual General Meetings.

2:30pm – National Annual General Meeting.

7:00pm – Social Night - Take part in the RCA’s versions of popular TV Quiz shows including: Countdown, Call My Bluff and a special version of Deal or No Deal.

 

Friday 5th Sept.

2:00pm – Line Dancing - All abilities welcome including complete beginners.

7:00pm – Country and Western Theme Night. (C&W outfits optional)

 

Saturday 6th Sept.

10:30am – Silver Surfers. Myths busted! Learn how to use the internet, your computer and your phone safely.

2:00pm – Boules competition. Who will take the trophy this year?

7:00pm – The RCA’s Got Talent, following last year’s very successful open mic night.

 

Sunday 7th Sept.

Free day – To explore.

7:00pm – Relaxed social evening, bring your own games. 

 

Monday 8th Sept.

10:30am - Interested in being a Rally Officer?  Come along for an informal chat.

2:00pm – Boules competition (if rained-off Saturday)

7:00pm – Taylored Duo. Professional live entertainment performing hits from the 50’s to present day. http://taylored-duo.co.uk/promo

 

Tuesday 9th Sept

10:00am – Guided local area walk. Learn about Ancaster’s connection with the Roman Empire.

2:00pm – Craft Afternoon.  Learn a new skill.

2:00pm – Walking Football competition, a non-contact sport that everyone can join in.

7:00pm.  A Night at the Races.

 

Wednesday 10th Sept.

2:00pm – Learn to Jive.

7:00pm – Party Night; fun, music and dance with audience participation.

 

Thursday 11th Sept.

6:00pm – Gala Meal.  Two course dinner followed by our top-of-the-bill, Step into Elton - the UK’s No 1 Elton John tribute act.  https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=KZ9C27yssg4 

Dress code for this evening is Dress to Impress!  Ladies get your ball gowns or sparkly outfits out and Gents it’s time for the DJ’s. (Lounge suit or at least collar and tie please).

 

Friday 12th Sept.

Home time. – Unless you have booked extra nights!

 

All fund-raising during the event will go to support this year’s Chairperson’s charity: Parkinson's UK http://www.parkinsons.org.uk.  We hope you will support this very worthwhile cause.

DOGS.  Please note that dogs are allowed on the rally and also in Woody's Bar on the site, however, they are NOT allowed in the function room at any time.
